Studio and advisory

How we keep our advice independent.

Entretech gives independent technology advice, and Entretech Studio builds its own software products. These rules keep the two apart.

  1. 1

    Same criteria as everyone else

When a Studio product could fit an advisory client, it's evaluated against the alternatives on the same terms.

  2. 2

    Disclosed up front

If we recommend something we built, we say so plainly in the recommendation.

  3. 3

No builds on projects we advise on

The Studio builds its own products and client builds, but never a project where we advised on what to build or who should build it.

What this means for advisory clients

Our advisory work doesn't include building your software. If a Studio product appears in a recommendation, you'll see it disclosed and compared with the alternatives.

Living with a problem no tool quite solves? Tell us about it.

Problems we hear about repeatedly are the ones the Studio considers building for.
